DANGER OF CHOKING! I found plastic in the pate and shredded paper in two different orders. Their customer service informed me that the issue occurred at their factory in Germany.

Honestly, how can you overlook something like this? If you decide to purchase from them, be sure to thoroughly mix it up or check it out before giving it to your pup.

My dog was all about the Freeze Dried raw, but now I see the price has jumped from £27.7 per Kg for the 3 x 840g (which they’ve taken off their site!) to a crazy £37.60 per Kg for the 5x250g packs. There’s just no way to explain that hike except for plain old greed!

For years, I’ve been buying True Instinct wet food pouches for my three cats, and they absolutely loved it. The aroma was delightful, and I felt good knowing the food was healthy. Then, it switched to Natures Variety. Lately, I noticed an alarming amount of fat in the chicken and beef pouches, which looked pretty unappealing. The company checked it out and assured me it was all good, so I kept on picking out the fatty bits. But this morning, I had a real wake-up call. I opened a chicken and goose pouch, and the smell hit me like a brick wall—like something had kicked the bucket in my kitchen. I’ve been in the medical field for over 30 years, and I’ve never gagged from a smell until now. Just thinking about it makes me feel queasy. I’m seriously hesitant to open the rest of the pouches. The boxes and pouches still show an expiry date of 2025, which is just so disappointing and worrying. How can I keep buying from the same brand after this? Honestly, this might have turned me off wet pouches altogether. I’ve got a ton of this food stocked up, and it wasn’t cheap! I can’t be the only one who’s had this issue… the contents of that pouch must be similar across many others, affecting multiple customers.

***UPDATE - I reached out to the company, but they didn’t seem too keen on checking the quality of the product. They brushed it off as just one of those things, calling it a ‘blown’ pouch, which they say is rare. All this was wrapped up in a quick email. Oh well, nevermind, right?

***Further update - TrustPilot contacted me, saying Natures Variety (outside the U.K.) wanted more details. If I didn’t provide them, my review might get taken down. I sent my info through the link, but no one has followed up. If my review disappears, it raises serious questions about the integrity of both the company and TrustPilot.

I honestly can't wrap my head around the fact that my Jack Russell gobbled this stuff up right when I set it out. They really enjoyed it! Bella usually gives me a hard time about eating, but that issue is now sorted.

My pup loves this chow. I grab 7 kgs to last me about 3 months.

They switched their name and there have been a whole lot of issues with their food, yet they never let their customers know about it...

My cat Lara had given a shot to all sorts of options without any luck, and they were all making her feel unwell. Nature Variety turned out to be our final option, and we haven't regretted it since. She enjoys all the different flavors and finishes every meal, leaving no leftovers—super happy kitty!

My pup adores it! The best part is that it doesn't cause any allergies for them. Plus, their digestion is on point.

My pup is a big fan of the meat boost kibble. I recently gave him the Salmon flavor, and I ended up purchasing a 10kg bag of it since he enjoyed it so much. The only downside is the price, but there are usually deals that make it more affordable! Deliveries come super fast. The customer support is fantastic. It would be awesome if the packaging could be recycled 😊

My dog is a big fan of Nature's Variety. Before I discovered this brand, I could only feed her raw food; she never touched kibble. I ran into a problem with one of the bags, but a super helpful lady named Claire Parkinson sorted it out right away, no hassle whatsoever. I can't recommend Nature's Variety highly enough, both for the top-notch food and the fantastic customer service I got.
